The Asia Society seeks to promote the understanding in the United States of Asian cultures. The society provides consultants to help school districts develop programs of study and multimedia educational materials, offers educational programs to the general public, and operates a museum for exhibitions of Asian art. It also publishes annual reports on conditions in China, India, and Korea, as well as a quarterly newsletter.
